1. What services does Opteng Studios provide?

We provide back-office technical support services including point cloud processing, as-built and measured drawing production, working drawings, construction drawings, and property-related services. We support architects, surveyors, developers, builders, and property owners.

2. Do you also carry out building and renovation works?

Yes. We undertake building and renovation works within Ghana and selected African countries. These services are delivered through our local teams and trusted partners and typically cover residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

3. Do you carry out site surveys or laser scanning?

No. We do not carry out site surveys or laser scanning.
We work with data provided by surveyors or clients, such as point cloud files, scans, or measurements, and convert them into accurate drawings and models.

4.What formats do you work with?

We commonly work with point cloud data (E57, RCP, RCS, LAS), CAD files (DWG), and BIM formats (Revit). Final deliverables are issued in formats agreed with the client.

5.What software do you use?

We work primarily with industry-standard Autodesk and visualization tools, including Autodesk Revit Architecture, AutoCAD Architecture, Autodesk ReCap, and Twinmotion. These platforms allow us to accurately process point cloud data, produce coordinated working drawings, and deliver high-quality visual outputs for design and construction workflows.

We use these tools because they are widely adopted across the architecture, engineering, and construction industry and ensure accuracy, compatibility, and efficiency. Autodesk ReCap allows us to reliably process point cloud data, while Revit and AutoCAD Architecture enable precise as-built and working drawings. Twinmotion supports clear visualisation, helping clients and project teams better understand design intent before construction.
